A new APCEIU book on multicultural education for children is now off the press; it is called A Multicultural Adventure with Dr. Ko: Curious Encounters with an Asian Elephant, Water Buffalo, Philippine Eagle, and Mongolian Horse. The book presents a story that inculcates respect for cultural diversity and promotes attitudes of "learning to live together" in a multicultural environment. Targeting children from multicultural families, the book aims to strengthen the children's self-identity, empower them, and instill in them, as well as in other students, a sense of global citizenship.

The educational material ? a teacher’s manual and documentary film “From Difference to Togetherness”, and The Five Colors of Multicultural Understanding ? has been distributed to teachers, experts in various fields, government agencies, NGOs, local educational boards, primary and secondary schools belonging to the Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet), Cross-Cultural Awareness Program (CCAP), and libraries.
